With public and private sector resources under pressure, maintaining a resilient and high-performing workforce is a huge challenge for today’s leaders. Costs of low well-being and low resilience range from 10%-25% loss of productivity, higher absence rates and lower retention rates. The cost of ill health to the UK economy is around £100 billion a year – the cost of running another NHS.
